The Gem and Jewellery Research and Training Institute (GJRTI) conducts a range of vocational training programmes in the field of gem and jewellery, primarily for NVQ Level 4 and 5 qualifications.
As part of the NVQ Level 4 and 5 requirements, we coordinate a compulsory six-month on-the-job training (OJT) period for students who have successfully completed NVQ Level 4 and 5 programmes. Upon completion of the OJT, students may continue into employment based on their performance and the employer’s needs.
In addition, for students who have completed non-NVQ courses, GJRTI facilitates job placements by connecting them with companies that have relevant vacancies.
We continuously coordinate with employers in the gem and jewellery industry to gather information on available job opportunities through the form linked below. This allows us to match qualified graduates with suitable positions, thereby supporting the industry’s skilled workforce needs.
